An Evening with Louise Swanson
Thursday 28th March, 7pm
Atrium (formerly Cafe Courtyard/La Finca)

An event jointly hosted by ourselves and the lovely folk at Atrium (formerly known as Cafe Courtyard/La Finca) are thrilled to hold An Evening with Louise Swanson.

The second of a brand new series of author centred events, we're very pleased to welcome Louise from across the bridge!

Louise also writes under the name Louise Beech, and has a fantastic back catalogue of titles to discover. Most poignant is her memoir, Eighteen Seconds, which focuses on Louise's life and relationship with her mother before and after she jumped from the Humber Bridge, surviving with life changing injuries.

Predominantly a novelist, Louise's latest novel End of Story has just been released in paperback. A dark dystopian thriller imagining a world where fiction has been outlawed.

There are two ticket options, which you can mix and match to suit your party. Admission only (including canapes and wine on arrival) is £16. However, you can also opt to bundle in a discounted copy of End of Story with your admission. This option is £25. Books available on the night will be at the full RRP price of £9.99.

About End of Story

With her words, she changed the world.

Until her story took a turn. Now Fern is a cleaner in a hospital. Condemned to anonymity.

Because reading books has become a crime. Only, Fern doesn't plan on going down without a fight. She'll keep writing, no matter the consequences.

She will make her voice heard. Because Fern's story is only beginning.
